Team Changes.

I cannot believe it is already month 5, and half way through our race. Woah! This month our entire squad was scheduled for new team assignments for the rest of the year. Which means, we had to say our sweet goodbyes to the team we have gotten to know so well since month 1.

Young Royalz was such a blessing to my life. We have had so many moments with each other that will forever be remembered. There was so much personal and spiritual growth within each of us on our team. We learned how to have fun, be ourselves, work together in ministry, and living together in sisterhood.

Our time together consisted of many late night competitive Dutch Blitz, Monopoly Deal card games, Taylor Swift, and lollipops. We carried and fed babies with each other. We did weeding together and wheelbarrowed dirt/ rocks, broke a sweat in ministry and were covered in numerous itchy bug bites. We shared our testimonies in month 3. We carried disabled children together on and off buses and onto a beach for a beach party. Together, we laid under a fan during our 3 hour lunch breaks in 105 degree temps everyday in month 4. We put together a team music video compiled with our craziest dance moves in remembrance of our team. And the one night we did intercessory prayer on the roof in month 4. And I won’t forget the much needed ice cream stops before or after ministry. There are so many unforgettable moments we shared that are not listed here even though there’s more to say of genuine love of our team.

Living in community can be rough and challenging at times too but in return it is a blessing. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have community with others on the race. Being connected and being apart of community living is one thing I longed to experience for quite some time.

Living in community, we value calling each other higher by reflecting the love of the father’s heart. We may have hard conversations or other encouraging moments with each other, but it is all a part of growing. There is so much personal and spiritual growth that comes with community living on the race. We intentionally bring feedback to one another valuing each other as God’s son/daughter. Sometimes we need another person to approach us, to help us check our spirit, evaluate our hearts and to dive into what the Lord has in front of us. With feedback, we grow in taking it into prayer and asking the Lord how to apply it or grow from it.

And so, with that being said.. I am excited for the new season of community living with a new team, all new people from my squad. I’m so excited to share with you my new and last team assignment on the race this year.

We are Team Fly!

We have been prophesied as a team that walks in freedom. We are freedom flyers! We fly on wings of eagles and walk confidently in the Kingdom knowing of the freedom and the authority the Lord has given us.

I am super excited to live in community with my new team. We all value being united, choosing into each other, bringing freedom to others, and being the light to the darkness around us. We look forward to all that the Lord has for us these next months. I’m excited for it all, growing more intimate with the Lord and doing missions with my team! Let’s Go! Let’s Fly!

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
