And just like that, 11 months have come and gone.

It is now December and I’m currently back at home and transitioning my international missions life overseas and back into America!

What seemed to be short term has made an eternal impact not just through myself but through all the lives we have come in contact with throughout the year.

Because of your faithful contributions and prayers to my trip, I was sent and got to be apart of a glorious and impactful move of God throughout the World. I have set foot on 15 countries this year all of which in ways we have shared the gospel. And to add on to that, in Portugal and Spain, we had met others from several other nations whom we also shared the gospel with! We brought the good news of Jesus Christ to nations and then, while walking the camino, it was as if God had brought the nations to us.. how cool is that!

1. Colombia  2. Ecuador   3. Peru

4. England    5. India       6. Nepal

7. Rwanda    8. Uganda    9. Kenya

10. Ethiopia 11. Germany 12. Romania

13. Hungary 14. Portugal  15. Spain

What’s fascinating about the World Race is that our squad was about 40 in number traveling and ministering together. We were like our own family. In each country we split into 6 teams of about 6 to 7 racers each and spread out to different areas of each country. We served and partnered with different ministries. Together, by the grace of God, He has used us to minister to and bring the light of Jesus to people everywhere.

We served in various way this year which were many “firsts” for us. We’ve served in orphanages, served and loved on the homeless, we preached, taught children’s school, worked with women’s ministries, we did street or door to door evangelism, and worshiped in public places as a team. Bibles were given out to many. We hosted a large community gathering (crusade) where 400 people received salvation. We evangelized to Muslims, and reached untouched roads! We participated in baby dedications and baptisms. We walked into restaurants where women were trafficked to share the hope of Jesus Christ with them. We ministered to children and families in the poorest of poverty living you couldn’t even imagine. In construction ministry we have took part in building a church, schools, or a wall. Sometimes a day of ministry looked like pulling weeds, preparing meals for the orphaned, or using mobile wifi routers to openly share a downloadable Jesus film in their language.  Whether we are bringing the gospel to the farthest, or cleaning up trash around our local communities, we were all the light of Jesus Christ that He has called us to be. People around are impacted and encouraged to seek the Truth. And being an example of the church has brought people to connect in a local church. And the work of God continues on.

Our squad as a whole kept track of all the fruit we personally saw and were apart of. And here are the results of the entire year!!

  • People we shared the gospel with: ~2,307 people
  • People who prayed to receive Jesus: ~1,015
  • Healings: ~200
  • Deliverances: ~342
  • Baptisms: 15
  • Bibles given out: ~295
  • People plugged into discipleship groups/church: ~659
  • We personally discipled: ~530

Firstly, God receives all the Glory for all that He has done this year! It is all glorious and incredible to see the fruit from all of our “yeses” and through our obedience and trust in the Lord.

Second, I want to thank each and every person that has faithfully helped me go on this 11 month trip with World Race. Because of your generous giving and your prayers, I was able to experience and see all that God had done this year. And now I get to share this with you! Praise God!! This is the fruit!

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. – Matthew 28:18-20
