Saturday night my team and I were invited to spend the night at a church in Cayambe which is also an area of indigenous people to help with a children’s program. The Lord allowed us to experience serving on the other side of operation Christmas child as children received their gifts.

It was a joy to see a room full of kids have sweet smiles and excitement! This child warmed my heart from recognizing the joy in his heart through his sweet smile!

One thing I got from this is that God has already given us His perfect gift. Jesus. We choose to accept him. But then, we also have a choice to open our life up to Him. Just like when children find different things in their gift boxes, Jesus also gives us many things in life that we find to celebrate life with Him! Glory to God!

More of us need to recognize that Jesus is more than just our Lord or our Savior. He is looking for us to recognize the gift of having a relationship with Him and the many ways we can enjoy spending our life with Him. We can celebrate that! The Lord enjoys it and longs for us to choose Him and recognize His love for us! He delights in us. Will you receive Jesus as your most precious and perfect gift? Will you open the gift and receive a celebrating life with Him.

“Ask and you shall receive.”

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
??James? ?1:17? ?NKJV??
