Hello everyone.

Yesterday was a big day for me. 🙂

I graduated! Woohoo!!

I remember 7 years ago, I was not prepared for college. I never had the issue of sitting in class and focusing, but I struggled with my reading and writing skills in which I made myself believe I would never succeed in school. I failed and dropped out my freshman year. For a few years I believed that I was failing at life and struggled to believe I even had a purpose living day to day. I repeatedly asked myself what I was good at and had no interest in trying to succeed in my passions.

I took almost 2 years off of school before I decided to go back and do something with my life. Around that time I also found my identity in Christ. That’s when my future started to become brighter knowing the promises that God has for me. (Jeremiah 29:11) And knowing that I could do anything and abundantly more by the mighty hand of God. (Ephesians 3:20).

Now that I am graduated, I am ready to take on a new chapter of my life.

I am confident that the good work God has begun in me will be completed.

(Philippians 1:6)

Next year I will be leaving home for a year traveling to serve and disciple in 11 different nations. Jesus Christ will be known to the areas my team and I will travel to. We will have different job assignments as we will be partnered with local missionaries and ministries in each area, such as building homes, caring for the poor and hungry, teaching English to kids, and ministering to women and children who are subject to human trafficking.

I look forward to this amazing opportunity that the Lord has opened up for me. I am believing that God is still at work in me and is continuing to prepare my heart for this mission trip. I have already been seeing it! Praise God!!
